Grave of Rosinni

Grave of Frederick Chopin

Grave of Ingrés

Grave of Jim Morrison

Grave of Oscar Wilde

This cemetery, the largest in Paris, contains more famous dead than any place on earth ... Balzac, Oscar Wilde, Moliere, Chopin, Rossini, Corot, Delacroix, Pleyel, Brahms, Sarah Bernhardt…down to Edith Piaf.  The over-all effect of the architecture/design of the tombstones is macabre but still interesting.  Teenagers visit the grave of Jim Morrison of The Doors as if it were a “cult” site.
